Not that Dan and Kate don’t rock, far from it. They just do things
their own way-- collaborating with people, playing in living rooms, and partying hard.

Deer Country sound better than ever. Just the right amount of ambiance and back up instruments to really make the songs shine.
The bottom line is if you are a fan of heartfelt indie folk, then you should really check this out.

This is Deer Country is Houghton's answer for the town's indie folk shortage. You will be amazed at the songs and sounds on this disc.
